I started out as a student at my local Kumon Center back in first grade, and continued to learn math every Saturday until seventh grade. From first to seventh grade, I was a dedicated Kumon student, completing my homework packets every night, and going into the center every Saturday morning. Though I complained about the work at the time, I gained so much from this program as I was able to advance my math skills significantly. 

As I entered high school and was searching for my first job, I landed on the obvious answer, a program I had been a part of for the majority of my childhood: Kumon. Having my first job was an incredible opportunity that was extremely rewarding. Kumon had provided a sense of accomplishment and pride as I excelled in school, and now I could help students feel the same way. Currently, I work with students from pre-k to middle school, teaching both math and reading.
