Governor’s School for Global and International Studies

The Governor's School for Global and International Studies is a month-long program at the University of Pittsburgh that focuses on international issues and policy to give students a greater understanding of the world. The program incorporated classes in global studies, argumentation, and a world language (Chinese). It also involved creative activities exploring different cultures to connect with the material outside of classwork. The program included a service aspect as we volunteered with Global Links, which distributes needed medical supplies worldwide.
